RedBird Pilates & Fitness is a destination fitness facility in the heart of Austin. Our studio offers a wide range of Pilates mat and apparatus classes, Primal 7® suspension training, Body Engineering workouts, personal training and workplace wellness programs—all created and supervised by Pilates Method Alliance-certified professionals. RedBird’s fitness programs are based on a distinct methodology that emphasizes precision movement and proper body alignment. Men and women immersed in RedBird’s methodology become progressively stronger, leaner and healthier—even more courageous—as their commitment deepens.

The RedBird method stands for training with precision, proper alignment and execution of movement, deep mental focus and integrated breath work. These elements we believe deepen a fitness practice to the cellular level and produce true body transformation. As part of this philosophy, we strongly recommend that all new clients participate in two private assessments as they enter the program. These assessments aid new clients in learning the fundamental basic alignment principles and movements of the RedBird curriculum, as well as help teachers get to know you and your body, learn about your issues/injuries and to show you specific modifications that will benefit your work. These sessions insure that new clients take the work to a much deeper level and get maximum results from their RedBird practice.

The famous Pilates machines such as the reformer, tower and exo chair help re-align your body, innervate under utilized, but important postural and stability muscles and improve flexibility. To get started on the equipment work, enroll in our Intro to Reformer classes. These four-week classes for only $100 will allow you to experience what Pilates apparatus (equipment) training can do to enhance any fitness practice and prepare you for a more advanced Apparatus series.
These series start the first of each month and are offered Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. Limit four people per class.

Primal 7 Suspension Band Training at RedBird
Using suspension-band equipment from Austin-based Primal 7, RedBird’s custom workouts will deliver an amazing fully-body experience, regardless of current fitness level.
Primal 7’s innovative equipment supports body weight in ways that promote and enhance movement, making it a strong complement to RedBird’s foundational method of functional fitness, body-weight resistance training and precision-based movement.
